The ABBEY-LANCER/PORTREEVE PASTORAL CHARGE unites the faith communities of Abbey, Lancer, and Portreeve in central Saskatchewan under one pastoral umbrella.

Abbey is a small but spirited village in the Rural Municipality of Huron No. 223. Founded by prairie settlers in the early 20th century, Abbey is home to our church office and mailing address. The community exemplifies the warmth and resilience of rural Saskatchewan.

Lancer is a welcoming rural community located nearby. With strong agricultural traditions and close-knit families, Lancer's congregation brings vibrant Prairie character to our shared ministry. The community is known for its hospitality and genuine neighbourly spirit.
