ABBEY-LANCER/PORTREEVE PASTORAL CHARGE congregation and community

About Us

Three communities. One pastoral family. A century of Prairie faith.

Who We Are

A Pastoral Charge Rooted in the Saskatchewan Prairie

A Pastoral Charge is a unique form of ministry found across rural Canada — a grouping of two or more congregations served by a shared pastoral minister. The ABBEY-LANCER/PORTREEVE PASTORAL CHARGE unites the faith communities of Abbey, Lancer, and Portreeve in central Saskatchewan under one pastoral umbrella.

Registered as a Canadian charitable organization (Registry ID: 106679178RR0001), we operate in the heart of Canada's Prairie province, offering worship, pastoral care, and spiritual programming to residents across a wide rural region.
